3D Printing and Fashion Upgrading Workshop in Berlin

Join our workshop to learn the basics of 3D modeling and 3D printing.Bring old clothes that you no longer wear to our workshop and let's pimp it up with 3D printed enhancements. It is also possible to repair your clothings!

Join our beginner workshop to make your own first steps in 3D printing

The Basics

  • 3D modeling and printing 

    ● Learn the basic process of 3D printing from design, to modeling, to printing. You will learn how to operate and set up 3D printers to successfully create objects● Learn to turn ideas into 3D models or use and adapt existing models from the internet● You will be able to practice in this course, even without owning your own 3D printer

Project Work

  • Idea - Design - Manifistation

    ● Bring old clothes that you no longer wear to our workshop. ● During and after the workshop we'll work out how to make your clothes enjoyable to wear again with 3D printed enhancements.● It might also be possible to repair your clothings● Once there is an idea, we will meet again after the workshop for 3D printing the enhancements.

Community Building

  • Contribute to the community

    Become part of our Berlin based 3D printing community that researches 3D printing in the context of sustainability, upcycling, fashion creation, social empowerment and supports each other in the creation of meaningful objects.

Participation Requirements

You should bring your own Laptop and old clothes you do not wear anymore. (E.g. It has lost its color and looks old, it has holes or spots hard to remove or it become boring to you) It is not neccessary to have your own 3D printer You should speak English as it is our primary language of communication. But ofc. we speak also German and other languages.As women are underrepresented in the tech scene, we especially want to motivate them to participate in our trainings.
The participation in the workshop is donation-based. We recommend a donation of 15€ to 25€ per participant.

We are currently collecting donations for our 3D-Sisterhood project to purchase two 3D-Printers, a laptop and more tools to build up a 3d printing farm in a little village Ukraine to teach children and help war-disabled people.
10% of the donations are used to cover InMOE's adminstrative costs.

Next appointments

Our workshops take place in Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg. Once you have applied, we will send you the exact location. A maximum of 8 people can participate in a workshop. If the date does not suit you, feel free to sign up anyway and we might invite you to another similar workshop.
